Top Picks: Part 2

I told you I would follow up with more of my favorites from New York Fashion Week, and here are the last of my favorite designers in alphabetical order once again:

Marc by Marc Jacobs - once again Marc amazes me, as always. I am in love with the draping of fabrics, the colors (oranges and reds mixed with greys and browns) and the patterns.

Mulberry - surprisingly Mulberry was another one of my favorites, I am obsessed with the luxurious bold patterns, shoes, fabrics and designs Mulberry put together

Oscar De La Renta - the classic ODLR did it again, the sheer dresses of course won me over a long with the fur accents and the gorgeous embellishments

Roses are red

my hair is officially died back to my natural color! One of the pluses to having almost black hair is that I can wear almost any color of clothing without it looking horrible on me, especially red! With fading red hair, anything red looked horrible on me, so I'm excited I can wear red all the time now and look great in it!
A long time ago I found this editorial on wehearit, and have saved it ever since hoping to blog it one day, and now I can!

I love the red sheer tights, and all the red accents in this shoot so much, after being reminded of this shoot I just had to wear some red today

Top and Jacket; Forever 21
Belt; Kohl's
Skirt; American Apparel
Leggings; Target
Boots; DSW (my favorite things ever)

Vintage Chanel rhinestone necklace, Diane Von Furstenberg silk t-shirt, Galaxy tube skirt (i'm dying for this..), Marc by Marc Jacobs hobo bag, black sheer seam back tights, Steve Madden trumpit boots

Glass Gems

I've been meaning to make this post for probably close to a month now, and finally am! I've been really interested/obsessed with perfume bottles of all types, shapes, sizes. Although I am just started my perfume collection with Chance by Chanel, I'm really excited to get more bottles and make my dresser look gorgeous with all the different bottles and tops for them! I've been trying to find some at antique stores but no luck so far, hopefully soon though!

this embroidery by ashley of sleepyfawn has made me fall in love with that bottle, it's my next purchase!

these pictures have made me want to dress as girly as possible, I've been wearing lots of white, creams, sparkles, ribbons in my hair and etc. I'm loving it.

Marcy Marc

Thanks to Women's Wear Daily, I've found the most amazing picture of Marc Jacobs, my love. His picture is being published in François Nars' new photography book 15x15 featuring his make-up shown through beautiful photography inspired by the wonderful Richard Avedon. 15x15 is a celebration of being in his business for 15 years now! This book to comes out in November, only being sold at 15x15project.com

P.S. how amazing are Marc's tattoos?

Rain or Shine

As many other fashionista's did, Q. and I got to attend New York's Fashion's Night Out the kick off of New York City's Fashion Week. I have been anticipating this night for so long planning and planning and re-planning which stores across New York City I wanted to visit. Finally myself, my roommate from college and Q. decided on having our big and most eventful stop of the night to be Bergdorf Goodman because of the many designers (Zac Posen, Alexander Wang, Manolo Blahnik etc) were supposed to attend along with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen serving drinks, which was the main reason I was so excited to go, I needed to see my idols. To make a long story short, after waiting in many lines, squeezed together with many fashionista's from all over we did not get to see MK & A or anyone else for that matter because of the massive amount of fashionable ladies and gents at Bergdorf's.
On a side note, the only good thing that came out of it was getting to talk to random people in lines, Q. and I had the chance to meet the Skinny Intern fashion blogger from Miami! She was so sweet and I wanted to share her blog with you, check her out!
After the disappointment at Bergdorf's we made are way from Miu Miu to see Alexa Chung DJ, to Payless to meet the not so lovely Christian Siriano who you could tell was not thrilled by 9pm to pose with his many fans. Finally we all made our way to Soho and Bleecker St which we found much more fun, and much less crowded. Ended in the Marc Jacobs Accessory store spending $$ on wonderful things instead of the official Fashion's Night Out tee that was sold out in .2342 seconds. Disappointing.

Overall I was not a fan of Fashion's Night Out, very disorganized and very unrealistic.

Some pictures to sum up the night:
